The most beautiful, breathtaking part of the Emerald City. Located on the Elliott Bay waterfront. Between the Olympic Sculpture Park to the north, and the Stadiums to the south.
As you stroll along the Seattle Promenade in any direction, make note: That in 2015 the light penetrating surfaces (LPS) were installed as part of the Elliot Bay Seawall project. Migrating salmon that travel our urban shoreline prefer the light filled environments created by the LPS, making the Seattle Promenade an important part of aquatic habitat. You can see the glass bricks under your feet providing light for the Elliot’s Bay water life.
